The main mineral of the deposit bearing more than 50 million tons of iron reserve is siderite, accompanied by a limited quantity of limonite. Rich in content and reserve of manganese, Deveci Iron Mine is Türkiye’s largest manganese-containing iron mine. Operated by Hekimhan Mining with an opencast method, siderite ore obtained from the mine is offered to customers after being exposed to certain dressing methods such as downscaling, screening, and calcination.

Having produced more than 10 million tons since the date of its establishment, the Iron Mine site is still maintaining its activities with a production capacity of 2 million tons per year.
Considering the fact that demands in the domestic market will increasingly continue, and the sales to foreign markets after commissioning the calcination plant, full capacity operation and capacity increase for the enterprise will probably become the main topic in 2019 and the years to follow.
